Sound and Consciousness: One Day Immersion

  • The Bhakti Barn 267 Jacobs Road Macedon, NY, 14502 United States (map)

Join us for a profound exploration of the relationship between sound and consciousness.

Sound and silence are as fundamental to the human experience as breath and light. We use sound to connect, communicate, heal and transform. Modern science and ancient spirituality agree that sound and music have a profound impact on human wellness.

Meditation and deep listening are essential skills that help us reflect on our lives and explore inner depth. Silence and stillness bring balance, cleansing and clarity to overstimulated senses. Like an empty cup, silence teaches us to return to a state of receptive awareness where we encounter hidden insights and profound healing. Sound meditation offers mental, emotional and physical benefits.

This event will feature a guided sound bath meditation, cosmology talk, open Q&A, voice activation and hands-on training with a range of accessible instruments. No prior experience or training is necessary, and beginners to advanced practitioners will benefit from this unique offering.
